Salary: $40,000-$60,000, depending on experience

Job Description:

The Website Project Manager oversees website projects from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction and high-quality results. This role involves client communication, managing project timelines and staff production, and streamlining workflow. The PM is skilled in problem-solving, optimizing website design and development processes, and resource allocation. They also contribute to process improvements for scalable growth.

The SMP Project Manager ensures the timely completion of website design. 

Additionally, the PM focuses on clear client communication, managing expectations and facilitating communication between the team and clients. Continuous process improvement is central to delivering superior results.

The Website Project Manager also reports key performance metrics to the leadership team, providing insights into the Creative Team’s performance and project success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the main client contact, including kickoff meetings, manage client expectations, and execute timely deliverables for multiple website projects.
  • Manage capacity and production timetables by keeping projects on track, addressing overdue tasks, coordinating workflow and ensuring websites are completed on time.
  • Manage Tasks creation and delegation for the web team.
  • Maintenance of Project Management software and projects for the website team.
  • Regular Communication with clients and team members for the duration of their project, including phone, email, and video, text.
  • Presence in kickoff Meeting with Client and any requested meetings from the client.
  • Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Management of team members on the creative team, such as developers, graphic designers, and website administrators.
  • Reporting of key metrics to the Director of Operations and Leadership team, such as average time to launch a website, customer satisfaction with website process, number of current websites in progress, and customer/staff headlines. 
  • Continually developing and improving website processes to improve team synergy and client satisfaction.
  • Interviewing and hiring members of the website team alongside members of the leadership team.
  • Managing the delegation of website edits and overseeing completion of those tasks.
  • Monitoring website team workload and delegating projects based on workload and skill level
  • Mitigating issues with personnel and assisting Human Resources when team issues arise.
  • Maintenance of all website files and designs on cloud storage software.
