Our Core Values Are Everything To Us

A lot of companies treat their core values like a “checkbox” or as a block of text to take up space on their “about us” page. For us, our core values are much more than that. We hire, fire, and reward our team based on our core values. We make difficult decisions based on our core values. Sometimes it’s tough, but they always lead us to doing the right thing.

What does S.H.I.E.L.D stand for?

Shield stands for synergy, happiness, integrity, expansion, leadership, and dedication. After we’d come up with these 6 core values, we put the first letter of each into an online tool that shows you the words you can make with certain letters. Shield was the only word possible, and it was perfect. It was a moment of divine intervention. Our core values protect us just as a shield protects a warrior. There was no better word, and it was completely unexpected.
